Western Greyhounds Easter arrangements

Please note that we will be running the following services over the Easter weekend this year:

Thursday 28th March - normal service
Good Friday 29th March - Sunday service
Easter Saturday 30th March - normal service
Easter Sunday 31st March - normal service
Easter Monday 1st April - Sunday service
Tuesday 2nd April - normal service

London Underground Line Updates

Jubilee:

Part closure. No service between Stanmore and West Hampstead due to planned engineering work. GOOD SERVICE on the rest of the line.

Green Park
No Step Free Access - Step free access is not available to the Jubilee line due to planned maintanence. Call our Travel Information Centre on 0843 222 1234 if you need help planning your journey.


Metropolitan:

Part closure. No service between Aldgate and Uxbridge/Rickmansworth/Croxley due to planned engineering work. GOOD SERVICE on the rest of the line.

Farringdon
Good Friday 29 March, closed. Barbican is the nearest alternative station.

London Underground tickets are also valid for travel on London Bus routes 55 243 between Old Street and Holborn and route 63 between Kings Cross and Elephant & Castle.

Farringdon
Closed - This station is closed due to planned engineering work. Call our Travel Information Centre on 0843 222 1234 if you need help planning your journey.


Northern:

Part closure. No service between Edgware and Kennington via Bank due to planned engineering work. GOOD SERVICE on the rest of the line.

Hampstead Station
Reduced lift service until spring 2014 due to refurbishment work.

Highgate
Reduced escalator service until mid-October 2013 due to refurbishment work. Call our Travel Information Centre on 0843 222 1234 if you need help planning your journey.

For the nearest station with a down escalator to platform level, take local buses 43, 134 or 263 from stop 'T' to Archway. London Underground tickets will be accepted.

Woodside Park
Northbound step-free entrance for ticket holders only.

DLR:

Bakerloo Line Updates (London Underground)

Minor delays. Minor delays between Stonebridge Park and Harrow and Wealdstone due to operational issues. GOOD SERVICE on the rest of the line.

Lambeth North
From 2 January 2013 - July 2013 The Imperial War Museum will be closing for 6 months due to major redevelopment work.

Cardiff Bus route updates


E: 16 March city centre closures

From 1300 until last deprtures bus services in Cardiff city centre will use different stops. In addition the Central Bus Station will be closed.

buses to the west of the city - 17 18 25 33 33A 33B 60 61 62 62A 95 96 96A 101 102 & X91 will start and finish in Tudor Street

buses to the north of the city - 21 23 24 27 28 29 30 51 53 85 86 will start and finish in Greyfriars Road

buses to the east and north east of the city - 3 35 38 39 44 45 49 50 52 52A 55 57 58 will start and finish in Churchill Way between 1300 and 2000 after which time these buses will retrun to their normal Saturday night route

baycar 6 - will follow the Friday & Saturday evening route but will not serve the rear of Central Station

1 2 8 9 9A 11 - will start and finish in Canal Street

12 13 will be split in the city centre - buses to Ely will start and finiish in Tudor Street, buses to Tremorfa will start and finish in Churchill Way stop HN

92 93 94 will start and finish in Customhouse Street stop JG (at the rear of the Marriott Hotel) after 1900 buses will start and finish in Tudor Street

Plymouth Citybus timetable changes. as of 5th may 2013


On Sunday 5th May, Plymouth Citybus will be implementing a service revision. To keep you all updated well in advance we have listed what will be changed route by route below. As you can see quite a few of the services will benefit from being re paced after the changes implemented six months ago, in order to make them more reliable.

The list below gives an overview of the changes, full timetables are available online here and printed timetables will be available from the Travel Centre in Royal Parade 3 weeks before the service revision.


Services 5 & 5A 

Minor change to journey times within the route to improve the overall pacing of the service. Later Sunday evening bus.

Services 8 & 9 

Increased journey times to improve reliability, and the overall pacing of the service.

Service 14D

Minor change to journey times within the route to improve the overall pacing of the service. The14D will continue from HMS Drake to Plympton as a 21/A.

Service 16

Revised journey times. With the last journey on a Sunday to be withdrawn.

Service 20

Minor change to journey times within the route to improve the overall pacing of the service. Facility for onward travel on the Service 42 to Derriford Hospital is to be withdrawn

Cardiff bus updates



Mackintosh Place closure Sun 10th March - service 28 diversions

Mackintosh Place is closed on Sunday 10th March so service 28 will be diverted from start of service until 1700. It will divert via Albany Road, Wellfield Road and Ninian Road, using the bus stops for the number 29 during this time.
