Rail replacements down south continue...

Due to rail tracks still being flooded rail replacements have continued to happen the estimated time for a full mainline service will be early/mid January 2013

I will keep you Informed




My laptop has gone wrong so I can not bring that many photos will be back to normal after Christmas Day

another operator bites the dust

Bus operators step in to help Cornwall Council cover school bus routes in South East Cornwall from Monday 10th December

The authority has told us that the Darley Ford coach company is currently unable to fulfil their school bus contracts, the Council has arranged for the routes operated by the company transporting children to Liskeard School and Community College and Callington Community College to be covered by alternative bus companies on a short term basis. 

This means that from Monday, 10 December :
· The LIS105 service, which transports children from the Crows Nest, Darite, and St Cleer areas, to Liskeard School and Community College will be covered by Smiths Coaches
· The LIS106 service, which transports children from the Upton Cross and Tremar areas to Liskeard School and Community College, will be covered by Group Travel.
· The CAL112 service, which transports children from the Upton Cross area to Callington Comnmunity College, will be covered from C J Down Coaches. 
The new operators will be following the existing timetable and pick up locations.

First Devon and Cornwall Dennis Dart T295 JLD in the new livery like LN51 GOU.
However  LN51 GOU still have manual blinds in but in T295 JLD they have put a Hanover in the front.

Brighton and Hove visits Plymouth


































A visit from another go ahead group

Go ahead Brighton and hove B5LH visits Plymouth today for a Plymouth City Council event tomorrow
after that it will begin its long journey back to Brighton.
This arrived today Sunday 21/10/12 and is expected to return on Monday the 22/10/12 the latest it should return would be Tuesday unless i hear any different
