another operator bites the dust

Bus operators step in to help Cornwall Council cover school bus routes in South East Cornwall from Monday 10th December

The authority has told us that the Darley Ford coach company is currently unable to fulfil their school bus contracts, the Council has arranged for the routes operated by the company transporting children to Liskeard School and Community College and Callington Community College to be covered by alternative bus companies on a short term basis.

This means that from Monday, 10 December :
· The LIS105 service, which transports children from the Crows Nest, Darite, and St Cleer areas, to Liskeard School and Community College will be covered by Smiths Coaches
· The LIS106 service, which transports children from the Upton Cross and Tremar areas to Liskeard School and Community College, will be covered by Group Travel.
· The CAL112 service, which transports children from the Upton Cross area to Callington Comnmunity College, will be covered from C J Down Coaches.
The new operators will be following the existing timetable and pick up locations.
